Welcome to Cantermar Boxers

Our goal is to breed quality boxers to the Boxer Standard set forth by the American Kennel Club and American Boxer Club. We breed with priorities on health, temperament, type and beauty. We are located in Asheville, North Carolina in the beautiful mountain ranges between the Smoky and Blue Ridge Mountains. I have been showing dogs since 1982. Starting in obedience, I quickly learned the value of training and socialization of your dog at an early age. I love to train puppies for the show ring!


As a young man my start in dogs began with miniature poodles, learning to scissor, put up topknots, and present my dogs for the ring. After finishing five poodles, one of which was a toy poodle, my wife and I made the decision to get a Boxer. Our love for Boxers began there...  [Our History]
